The 925 Braidwood Project is a deliberately designed supportive housing and purpose-built shelter located at 925 Braidwood Road and Ryan Road in Courtenay, BC. This development plays a vital role in addressing the urgent need for safe, culturally appropriate shelter and housing for individuals experiencing homelessness in the Comox Valley.
Unlike temporary shelters set up in community centers or repurposed spaces, the shelter at 925 Braidwood is purpose-built, designed from the ground up to meet the specific needs of its residents and to integrate thoughtfully with the surrounding neighbourhood. It includes key features such as private areas, secure storage, and communal spaces tailored to support safety, dignity, and a path toward stability.
In addition, the project includes supportive housing units. Self-contained apartments that offer individuals the opportunity to transition from homelessness into stable, long-term housing.
Together, the shelter and supportive housing at 925 Braidwood represent a meaningful step forward in creating lasting, compassionate solutions to housing insecurity in the Comox Valley.

The Landing on 11th will feature 104 modern rental apartments in the vibrant heart of Courtenay, just a short walk from the downtown core and a wide range of amenities.
